I started this blog in May 2012 in order to document my travels, and to offer little bits of advice or warnings to other travellers, where I can. Above all, I love writing it. So I am thrilled to have some real life followers! (of the blog, I mean, not stalkers). It means a lot that people are interested to read about my adventures. I am also very happy to have received a couple of award nominations in 2012 – the Lovely Blog Award, and the Blog of the Year 2012 award.
